My grandpa had to have surgery to get his neck fixed. I believe his 3rd and 4th vertebrae from the neck was compressed so much that if he turned his head the wrong way he could of be paralyzed from the neck down. :( Grandpa told my grandma that he couldn't breathe. Then he went into respiratory arrest. They had to do CPR on him. They brought him back but, now they have a tube down his throat so he can breathe properly. He is in restraints so he doesn't pull the tube out. They are keeping him until his throat isn't swollen and he can breathe properly.
